The people slain were inhabitants of the uncompleted construction.
According to eyewitnesses, the proprietor of a construction close to the uncompleted construction had warned people who overtake the evening in the building to desist from it, but they refused. Then the massacre this forenoon occurred.
A resident in the locality said that at about 12:30am he perceived gunshot severally throughout the evening, causing panic in the area. The number of persons who died may be more than 20.
