Chief Femi Fani Kayode Withdraws his statement about Bianca Ojukwu(READ)

In a week after Bianca Ojukwu endangered a lawsuit over an “intimate connection” comment about her, Nigeria’s ex Aviation Minister,chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has removed his declaration.
In a statement through his lawyer, Rotimi Akinola, on Thursday, Mr. Fani-Kayode acknowledged that he erred by making the commentary but said it was “bizarre, absurd and inexplicable” that the wife of the late Biafran warlord, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, asserted they were not ever acquainted.

“As our client said previous through his press receptionist some of the words he utilised to describe his companionship with Ambassador Ojukwu in his item titled ”A phrase For Those Who Call Me A Tribalist” were indiscreet,” Mr. Fani-Kayode’s solicitor said in the declaration.


“He hereby removes those words,” he supplemented.
