According to a report by Nigerian Tribune, the unidentified Okada man was halted by officers of the Oyo State financial Vehicle Registration Unit and upon ascertaining his papers, asserted they were forgery, after which they grabbed his Okada.
According to eyewitnesses the man pleaded with the agents for a while but when his pleading dropped on deaf ears, he attempted suicide by flinging himself in front of two on approaching vehicles.
luckily there were persons round the locality to rescue him both times. He subsequent went into shock and started foaming from the mouth. Some policemen reached the scene and took the man to the hospital.
