MOVIE:Marketers ban Mercy Johnson for being too expensive

yes you read right, Nollwood marketers have ostracised player Mercy Johnson Okojie for being too costly. Doesn't make sense does it? If someone's fees is too high, the shrewd thing to do would be to boycott them and use less costly actresses. Leave her to those who can pay for her na, abi?
clemency Johnson is actually the largest paid actress in Nollywood. She allegations between N1.8million to N2m to feature in a video. The other ones, like Ini and Funke charge between N700k to N1.2million.

For this reason, the player has been blacklisted by the Nollywood video Marketers Association. The ostracise will not take effect directly as clemency has currently marked up to do quite a number of videos. She returned on Thursday from a video

position, and will be on the set of another video from tomorrow, Sunday. She will be traveling out of Nigeria one time this month and when she comes back, will be on another video set...so she's fundamentally booked till the end of the year.

The idea now is not to ostracise her after all her present agreements end. So the ostracise won't take effect until at smallest January 2014. This is not the first time the movie marketers

association will be putting a ban on actors. They did this a couple of years before when quite a number of Nollywood actors encompassing Genevieve Nnaji, Ramsey Noah, RMD, Emeka Ike, Jim Iyke and other ones were blacklisted.
