Professor Chukwuemeka Onukogu, the representative of INEC in Anambra state declared in Awka that Mr. Obiano won the election by polling one hundred eighty,178 votes in nineteen government areas within the state.
The total votes won by the APGA candidates constitutes twenty fifth of the votes in a minimum of nineteen LGAs out of the twenty one LGAs within the state.
The election results were declared when the completion of yesterday's supplementary elections that was boycotted by major parties that earlier participated within the 1st ballot.
