In an exclusive interview with Azuh Arinze of Yes Magazine, Genevieve Nnaji converses about finding the right man, her relationship with Kunle Coker and designs to proceed back to school. Excerpts...
How did you come into the video commerce?


"I have been portraying since I was eight in Ripples. That was how I got into acting. For videos, I believe that should be in 1998 in Most liked. I met Torino (Emeka Ojukwu) in a coach and to my greatest shock, he identified me from Ripples. He inquired me why I left the commerce and subsequent asked for me to the audition for Most liked. I got a role. A waka overtake and that was it."
But the article we perceived was that Kunle Coker conveyed you into Nollywood and both of you even dated
"Yes, Kunle Coker was really my boyfriend, but he did not convey me to the commerce.

Is it factual that you got rid of him for Fred Amata
"Fred Amata? I've not ever had anything to do with Fred Amata. I used to call him uncle, so I don't glimpse the cause why I should designated day Fred. We are just friends."

What would you state is the lowest article ever in writing about you in the press?
"So numerous bad things. But the one I despised most was the one about Fred Amata and I. It hurt me so much. I don't understand where they got that story from."

Tell us about the first time you dropped in love
"I believe we met at a display. This was when I was in secondary school. (Her baby daddy). We shared a allotment of things in widespread - singing. It was a case of two matching persons who were so much in love

So what finally occurred?
"Relationships occasionally come to an end."

What's your utmost desire?
"That God extends to bless me. particularly with the right man and a good family."

It's like you are eager to get wed
"No. The thing is just that there comes a time in your life where everything is going fine and all you can state to yourself is after this, what next? After everything you have to get wed as far as you're a woman.

Why have you not furthered your education?
"Life is not the identical for everyone. Some persons are lucky they arrive out of secondary school and proceed straight to university. Mine was distinct. But I'm very resolute. Definitely I'm going back to school. I liked to make money. I love my money. I cherish my own money. So I will proceed back when I make sufficient. But even while I'm there I won't halt working."

What part of a man's body do you like most?
"A man's barrel, from the belly up.

Where do you wish to be in the next ten years?
"In the next ten years, I know I will be wed with children. But I think it all counts on what God has fashioned out for me. I understand I will still be in the amusement commerce or the fashion world
